Avenor once again lead a team of property industry executives at Bondi Beach on Saturday, to raise funds for research at the Centre for Healthy Brain Ageing (CHeBA), UNSW Sydney.
This year’s event raised a staggering $150,000 for CHeBA’s research – a fantastic fundraising effort by the 35 corporate surfers, many of them CEOs and Managing Directors.
Avenor Director, Peter Clemesha, said he was delighted with Wipeout Dementia’s result.
“Wipeout Dementia aims to increase general understanding about risk reduction of dementia as well as the critical need for increased investment in research toward prevention of Alzheimer’s and other dementias. This work is critical, and I’m delighted we were once again involved in the event.”
