Peter Barnes, Chair
Peter is Non Executive Chair of Avenor’s Advisory Board and a member of the Investment Committee. He brings over 35 years of experience leading, managing and governing key aspects of property investment and the development of commercial real estate. During his career, Peter was for 21 years Executive Director and Managing Director of CRI Australia, Head of Property Finance within Institutional Banking & Markets at Commonwealth Bank of Australia, a Principal of Ernst & Young Real Estate Advisory Services and Internal Auditor and Operations Manager at Lendlease.

Peter holds positions as Chair and Independent Board Director of Charter Hall Investment Management, Chair and Investment Committee Member for Agnitio Real Estate Investments and Non-Executive Director of Richard Crookes Constructions and Chairman of Capstone Recruitment Asia Pacific. Peter is an Associate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a past Fellow of the Australian Property Institute and a Fellow of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Peter Clemesha, Executive Director
Peter has over 35 years of experience in the property industry, developing major CBD and suburban commercial office towers and residential mixed-use precincts, ranging in value from $50 million to over $2 billion. He has held project and development executive positions with some of Australia’s largest development firms, including Japanese company Kumagai, Abacus Property Group, and Leighton Properties. He has worked on projects including The Chifley Tower; a joint venture with Lendlease on Aurora Place; the Leighton, Mirvac and Macquarie Bank Barangaroo precinct bid; the White Bay precinct Google bid; the Vodafone office tower in North Sydney; and the first stage of Paramatta Square (PSQI) – the Western Sydney University’s CBD campus - before co-founding Avenor in 2015. At Avenor, Peter was instrumental in guiding Atlassian’s vision to create and establish the Tech Central Precinct and Atlassian’s new Headquarters at Central Station.

His breadth of knowledge provides Avenor a holistic approach to its development services business, involving advisory and management, and its commercial and residential projects, including the East Walker Street residential precinct in North Sydney and the Connex innovation precinct in South Sydney, which is planned to be Sydney’s first 5G commercial office and retail precinct.

Daniel brings extensive experience in leading investment and development for listed and non-listed portfolios including the development of large city shaping urban renewal precincts encompassing a diverse mix of asset classes. Having previously held Development roles at Scentre Group, Lendlease, VIMG Australia and PWC, his portfolio of projects includes Westfield precincts in NSW, VIC and WA; Landmark, St Leonards; and Darling Square, Sydney.

Stephen has over 40 years of commercial property development experience in Australia and the United Kingdom. With over 21 years at the former Leighton Properties, Stephen’s projects included 80 Pacific Highway and 100 Pacific Highway in North Sydney; 486 and 472 Pacific Highway in St Leonards; 56 Delhi Road, North Ryde; 101 George Street, Sydney; 25 Smith Street and Eclipse Tower, Parramatta; Kings Square, Perth, as well as a range of projects in Melbourne and Brisbane.

Greg brings over 35 years of industry experience in both the private and public sector, including the delivery of major urban renewal projects locally and internationally. His project experience spans commercial, residential, luxury tourism, industrial, mixed-use and major infrastructure projects. Greg has accumulated wide-ranging property experience with a focus on large scale urban regeneration projects and strategic national real estate initiatives garnered from senior executive roles at government, institutional and private sector companies. Greg’s portfolio of projects includes Sydney’s Barangaroo South Precinct, Amaala Red Sea Resorts, Saudi Arabia, The Rocks & Darling Harbour, Ultimo Pedestrian Network, Australian Technology Park, Rozelle & White Bays’ Precinct and Cooks Cove Technology Park, to name a few.

Anthony Lombardo brings over 25 years of experience in the Australian property industry working with established names including Axiom Properties, Leighton Properties, Grosvenor and Charter Hall. Anthony’s portfolio of projects demonstrates his success in originating and delivering development opportunities across commercial, industrial, and residential sectors. Past projects include Butler Central Homemaker Centre, Perth; The Ribbon, Darling Harbour; Sydney Boathouse, Rozelle Bay; Eclipse, Parramatta and Wharf 10, Pyrmont.

Andrew brings over 20 years of industry experience from multinational investment, development and advisory firms, where he has led transformative projects valued in excess of $1.4 billion. Andrew has worked across a range of sectors, including commercial, retail, hospitality, health, pharmaceutical, education and residential. He is well-known for providing the guidance and project management required to create, maintain and lead collaborative teams. With expertise in project due diligence, planning, procurement and delivery, Andrew consistently meets and exceeds expectations.

Joseph Ravi, Senior Development Manager
Joseph’s development experience spans the eastern seaboard, as well as Western Australia, and includes complex and mixed-use urban renewal projects. He has a sound understanding of the full project lifecycle but specialises in acquisitions, project initiation, design development and management, stakeholder and authority management, project marketing, procurement and delivery management. Joseph’s key projects include White Bay Power Station, Glebe Island and Rozelle Bay, Midland Medical School and Curtin University Bus Interchange.

Greg has accumulated wide-ranging property experience in acquisition, development, investment, finance and advisory through roles at CityState Property, Legacy Property and Dunnet Properties, as well as being involved in development advisory services for institutional and private clients including NAB, Investec, Bankwest and Taylor Woodings. His property portfolio includes Montrose, North Sydney; Capital, Bondi Junction; Greenway Living Estate, Colebee; Crowle Estate, Meadowbank; 221 Miller Street, North Sydney and Oxley, Crows Nest.

Michael has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry in Australia and throughout South East Asia. His construction management skillset spans both technical and commercial aspects, and ranges from business acquisition through to managing project delivery. Michael has worked on Green Square Library, Sydney; 275 George Street, Sydney; One Parramatta Square (1PSQ), Parramatta; World Trade Centre, DaNang (Vietnam) and the Conrad Koh Samui, Koh Samui (Thailand).

Josh Finnegan, Project Manager
Josh’s project management experience spans a wide range of asset classes including large-scale high-end residential developments, commercial office fit-outs, hospitality fit-outs and affordable housing developments. This was gained whilst working at a number of project management companies. During a 12-month cadetship program, Josh worked with the City of Sydney’s City Projects division to deliver public infrastructure, including cycleways, street upgrades and footpath improvements.

Jennifer brings over 20 years of experience in the design industry from roles in drafting and as a Services Design Leader, gained at top-tier development and architectural firms, to her role as Senior Project Administrator. Her experience spans responding to requests for information, consultant and client reporting, project updates, submissions and delivering design amendments. Jennifer has a broad knowledge of projects across all asset classes though her meticulous reviews of specification, reporting and drawing documentation.

Zoe Lung, Executive Assistant
As an administration professional Zoe Lung joins the Avenor team as Executive Assistant to the Managing Director. She brings more than 10 years of office management and operational experience gained locally and abroad in both listed and private, and multinational and small-medium size enterprises. Working with a business partner mindset, Zoe is adept at internal and external stakeholder management, forward planning and is responsive to an evolving business administration landscape.
