Avenor’s Advisory Board and Investment Committee are fortunate to welcome seasoned Non-Executive Chairman and property executive, Peter Barnes, to the team.
Peter holds positions as Chair and Independent Board Director of Charter Hall Investment Management, Chair and Investment Committee Member for Agnitio Real Estate Investments, Chairman of Capstone Recruitment Asia Pacific and Non-Executive Director of Richard Crookes Constructions.
He brings over 35 years of experience leading, managing and governing key aspects of property investment and the development of commercial real estate.
During his career, Peter was Executive Director and Managing Director of CRI Australia for 21 years, Head of Property Finance within Institutional Banking and Markets at Commonwealth Bank of Australia for 5 years, Principal at Ernst & Young Real Estate Advisory Services and Internal Auditor and Operations Manager at Lendlease.
Peter is an Associate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a past Fellow of the Australian Property Institute and a Fellow of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
The committee will surely benefit from Peter’s vast industry experience.
